Virginia Building Supplies' COVID-19 Situation – Brisbane

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve I’d like to provide an update on a few things from our perspective about the measures we are taking to protect our staff, our customers and our families.

We will continue to monitor and update our approach and guidance as the situation emerges.

Regarding the 1.5m social distance requirement to assist in slowing the spread of viruses, VBS is asking you to avoid coming into our trade counter, store/warehouse where possible.

 If you have materials you would like to purchase and pick up, please phone in your order ahead of time. We’ll pick and have your order ready to collect and load the product onto your vehicle. So, you shouldn’t need to enter our doors. We are also putting cash sales on hold, only card sales will be available. Our on-site deliveries are not affected.

At this stage, noting the latest updates from the Prime Minister of Australia, our industry (manufacturing and construction) is classified as an ‘essential activity’ and remains open for business. Our factory, warehouse and staff are working to ensure our products and services continue to flow to you as required.

If there are any changes going forward, we will notify you ASAP as it happens.
